BK Monument & Headstone Payment Policy
At BK Monument, we are committed to providing compassionate, timely, and high-quality memorials to honor your loved ones. To ensure efficient production and service, we require the following payment and policy guidelines to be observed:
Payment Policy
1. Initial Deposit:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of placing your monument or headstone order. This deposit secures the design, materials, and placement in our production schedule.
Balance Due:
The remaining 50% of the total balance must be paid in full prior to your monument or headstone entering the sandblasting process. After, we will notify you once the stone is ready for our installation or customer pick-up.
2. Accepted Forms of Payment:
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash
- Personal or certified check
- Credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover)
- Money Order
- Venmo
- PayPal

3. Design Approval:
All customers receive a digital proof of the monument design for approval. Written confirmation (email or signed copy) is required before any work begins. Changes requested after final approval may incur additional charges and could delay completion.
4. Turnaround Time:
Production times may vary based on material availability, cemetery regulations, and weather. A typical project may take 8-12 weeks from design approval and deposit, though some custom or imported materials may take longer. We will provide an estimated completion date, but please understand that delays beyond our control may occur.
5. Cemetery Regulations:
It is the customer’s responsibility to verify cemetery regulations/requirements that are located outside of our typical working area (those we already know and work with), including size, material, and installation guidelines. We are happy to assist in confirming these with the cemetery, but final compliance rests with the purchaser.
6. Cancellation & Refunds:
Due to the custom nature of monuments, the 50% deposit is non-refundable once work begins (design, material ordering, or engraving). Any additional refunds are at the discretion of management and subject to deduction of any costs incurred.
7. Storage Policy (not applicable to monuments we install):
Customer pickup orders - Once completed, monuments will be held for up to 90 days at no additional charge. After this period, a monthly storage fee may apply unless prior arrangements are made.
8. Liability:
We take great care in handling and installing your monument. However, BK Monument LLC. is not liable for damage caused by cemetery maintenance equipment, vandalism, natural disasters, or other events outside of our control after installation is complete.
